Chris was experiencing some stomach problems this week and met with a GI specialist yesterday.
Chris continues to work on transfers in OT but yesterday he worked on them without the aid of the transfer board. Any more challenges? BRING THEM.
Jen and Chris have been meeting with Jen’s cousin architect Frank Ross on the plans for home modifications. Frank has been tirelessly working on their behalf to outfit their home with everything that Chris will need. Clearly, all you need is love, and a good architect :). Thank you Frank for your expertise, your talents, and your boundless enthusiasm and support for Chris and Jen and the boys. You are a blessing.(You too, Tanya!)
PT is going well. Charming as ever all the therapists migrate towards Chris and his magnetism. They really enjoy his company and they are very much looking forward to joining Chris in New Castle when he begins his outpatient recovery. Jen joked that they are always welcome and she will cook whatever they want, but in the Niles household, lights out at 9:00pm sharp!
Missy posted a wonderful video of Chris on facebook. An inspiring reminder of the daily battles that must be met by a man we all admire and love. Thank you Missy Cololuca for being the band lady and for a being a part of the crusade to support my brother and his family. THANK YOU ALL. Each and every one of you, who if even for but a moment each day, are holding my brother in your hearts and prayers.
TGIF!!! I can't wait to see how much of his life my brother reclaims today. Stay tuned!
