Panama: Wednesday

Chris called me this evening and I was so happy to hear his voice. I miss my brother and he is a constant presence in my thoughts and in my heart as he is I know with so many of you. Today Chris met with his physical therapist and was very happy with the results of their meeting. He was excited to learn that they had a "standing" table for him and that they were scheduled to get him up on his feet doing mobility exercises very soon. He is feeling tired tonight and he thinks that all the blood work and the extraction surgery has left him feeling not quite like himself.

Tomorrow he will have an early PT session and then Chris will receive his first stem cell treatment intravenously in the afternoon. Chris says the kids are doing great and that they have been having a great time discovering the city and the different grocery stores with Frank and Tanya.

He also said the facility has state of the art equipment and that the team is incredible-friendly, professional, and determined to offer Chris the best care possible.

All our prayers are on their way to Panama tonight to you dearest brother. Stay strong, stay strong...
