Countdown to Panama: 19 Days

In 19 days my brother and his wife and two boys will travel to Panama in search of hope. Chris is enrolled as a new patient at The Stem Cell Institute in Panama City, Panama. Chris will be the first patient to be treated at the facility with the shortest time span between time of injury and stem cell treatment. There are no guarantees, no absolutes. But there is a state of the art facility that will treat his SCI with his own adult stem cells and donated umbilical cord cells at the site of his injury in hopes of repairing and encouraging new cell growth.
