With yesterday behind us, Thursday, today, is a wonderful, wonderful day.
The Physical and Occupational Therapists just finished working with Rocky. Chris accomplished the following with a three person assist:
-sitting balance
-upper body dressing
-supine to sit
-sit to stand
Life is good. So very, very, good.
I read Chris his e-cards this morning. He was deeply moved and overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, prayers,and support. My sister-in-law and I took pity on Chris and showered. Jen and brother Jeff took pity on our tired Mama and drove her home with special instructions from me to buy that rock of a woman a bottle of wine.
Chris now sleeping peacefully. He worked hard today. He has earned it.

That is awesome Chris!!! We are so proud of you. Keep your head up, even when it's tough and you don't want to...we are praying for you every day. You are so blessed to have Jen and your family behind you... and yes Leighann your mom is a rock and definitely deserves that wine...lol Lot's of love, Amy, Emily and Bruce
