Physical therapist met with Jen and family members yesterday and Chris began simple foot and leg exercises. Jen brought cards and pictures of the boys. Chris missing them, dearly. Jen is grateful for the outpouring of support. Chris feels blessed to be a Niles-Omar.
When Chris heard that Jen was coming down the hallway yesterday he quoted Forrest. "Me and Jenny is like peas and carrots." They are so lucky to have each other.
Chris received visits from some of his buddies which improved his mood and spirits.
Blogger note: Chris is a demanding patient. And I, his handmaiden, need a break-- Jeff can be his ice bitch for awhile!
